We are J.D. Camorlinga, a husband and wife team that is passionate about Christ and helping families grow in confidence and faith in Him.
Children who don’t know why they believe what they believe grow into adults who don’t know why they believe what they believe. If they don’t know that their beliefs are well-founded, how can they possibly defend them? Children have a LOT of questions, but parents often feel ill-equipped to provide them with well-reasoned answers.
So when we started looking for resources that would help us prepare our own children to defend their beliefs, we were surprised to find very little. It was then that we decided to start Picture Book Apologetics to take advanced apologetics arguments and tools that are available to adults, and distill those tools into simple, easily accessible materials for children.
Picture books are portable, colorful, engaging, and can encourage deeper conversations. Our stories provide parents with a starting point to lay a defensible foundation of firm belief for children growing in knowledge and faith, because it is never too early to start loving the Lord with our heart, soul, strength AND mind (Luke 10:27).
We typically post apologetics related articles, resources, and upcoming events once a week on our blog (over at youthapologeticsnetwork.com).

The “J” of J.D. Camorlinga is Jason, a graduate of Biola University (B.A. Psychology, ‘03; M.A. Organizational Leadership, ‘08; M.A. Christian Apologetics, ‘14; and M.A. Science and Religion – in progress), and husband to “D”anielle. Danielle is also a graduate of Biola University (B.F.A./Design, ‘12) and currently works for VisionTrust International as their Graphic Designer. We are the parents of two boys, 9 and 10 years old. With our respective skills in apologetics and graphic design (and with the help of a successful Kickstarter campaign, a small army of proofreaders and opinionated scrutinizers, and the grace of God), we have been steadily growing Picture Book Apologetics and the Youth Apologetics Network since 2013.
